Uncle Kentang, or his real name Kuan Chee Heng is a Malaysian social activist known for his heartfelt charity works.
His philanthropic efforts have been recognised by the Queen of England in which he will be awarded the Commonwealth Points Of Life award— such an award is granted weekly to a person across the Commonwealth nation as a token of recognition for their contribution to the community, and he is officially the 4th Malaysian to receive such award.
"This honor belongs to all Malaysians", Uncle Kentang said in one of his Facebook posts regarding the award. He was informed via email and is set to receive it on June 12th at the British High Commissioner’s office in Kuala Lumpur.
