Sexual assault allegations against Ebit Lew once made their round on the internet and multiple police reports were made, including one from Ebit Lew himself. After a recent development, Ebit Lew is once again under public scrutiny over screenshots of inappropriate messages allegedly sent by Ebit Lew to his victims have been released to the public.

This particular screenshot is one of the many inappropriate WhatsApp messages that have circulated around social media, collected as parts of evidence against Ebit Lew by a local lawyer. Below are the police reports made against him by his victims:

In general, victims of sexual assault often face difficulties in coming forward to authorities, or even their closest friends and family; regarding their experience. Most victims develop self-victimization tendencies, thinking it was their fault. As with this particular case, many have already dismissed the experiences of Ebit Lew's victims and expressed solidarity and support for the religious preacher. 

Between the sexual assault victims and the abuser, who do you choose to believe? This case is currently still under investigation, therefore it'd be unwise to derive personal conclusions especially when it involves social media personalities with a huge following. 

However, to dismiss a sexual assault victim's trauma without much consideration is a far worse offense. If the allegations against Ebit Lew turn out to be true, we hope his victims will be able to find the justice they deserve.
