Authorities in Petaling Jaya have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with a sexual harassment incident that occurred on an LRT train. The arrest, made on the morning of September 26th, followed a report filed by a female passenger who experienced the distressing event just two days prior.

The incident took place on September 24th during a busy train ride. The victim, a woman, shared her traumatic experience on Xiaohongshu, a social media platform. According to her post, she noticed someone repeatedly bumping into her from behind while the train was crowded. Initially, she thought little of it, attributing it to the packed nature of the LRT.

However, after the suspect exited the train at Mengkuang station, the woman made a shocking discovery. Wet liquid was found on her skirt, strongly indicating that she had been subjected to an act of sexual harassment.

Deeply disturbed, the victim promptly reported the incident to Rapid KL, the operator of the LRT system. Rapid KL confirmed receiving her report and taking immediate action to investigate the matter further.

The suspect was apprehended just two days later, at 8:48 AM on September 26th, thanks to the swift response from the authorities.
