A woman and her child were sent flying onto the middle of the road after being hit by a fallen tree branch while riding their motorcycle.
The incident occured along Jalan Bukit Putus (Kuala Pilah), whereby the shocking footage was retrieved from a nearby car’s dashcam.
While the mother’s condition has yet to be disclosed, the child reportedly sustained injuries to her head and under eye due to the impact.
With the recent cases of falling trees in Malaysia- including the one at Jalan Sultan Ismail (Kuala Lumpur)- netizens are urging the government to impose proper tree maintenance for future safety.
