The emotional video was shared by a courier delivery guy, which showed her getting choked up after having mistakenly purchased a toy rice cooker, instead of a usable life-sized version.
The woman had been anticipating the parcel, thinking that she had scored a deal as it was priced at RM6. Alas, the advertisement she saw turned out to be the opposite.
The video received outpouring support from netizens, with countless of them offering to send her a rice cooker and other forms of donations.
According to the delivery guy’s update, she had indeed received the gifts, and was utterly grateful for all the love shown towards her.
