While travelling on a late night drive, you don't expect to see any major happenings taking place other than your fellow drivers taking the road equally as cautious as you are. And thanks to dashcams, whatever unusual sightings presents itself, can be captured for all the world to see.
In a Facebook post recently, the night sky in Miri, Sarawak was abruptly illuminated by a passage of light, seemingly to be a falling meteor.
As soon as it was captured, it disappeared, but from the video, you can clearly see an object, being trailed by light, falling from the sky in quite a dramatic fashion.
While no official statement has been made about this incident, the video has began to make its round on social media, intriguing the public on whether this is an actual meteor that they are seeing, or perhaps a trick of the mind.
However, this wouldn't be the first time something like this has been spotted near our shores. Recently, on Friday May 24th, Singapore was ablaze with amazement as a meteor had also been spotted and identified in its skies near Queenstown.
Is this an actual falling meteor from the sky? Or perhaps something else completely entirely? We leave that to you to decide.
