A roach to go with your sushi? Errr, no thanks!
Famous Malaysian sushi chain, Empire Sushi, recently went viral following a spine-tingling incident which was caught on camera by a customer.
The said outlet, believed to be the one at Sunway Pyramid, became the subject of scrutiny after a cockroach had been spotted crawling on the sushi display.
However, the management were quick to address the issue, and followed up with a response video to reassure the public that they mean business!
In the video, the staff can be seen conducting deep cleaning on all appliances and furniture, including disposing every piece of sushi to prevent contamination risks.
Their professionalism and swift action have been hailed by netizens, and many are also urging other outlets to abide by the safety regulations.
