Apple revealed a new iPhone model on Wednesday that is surprisingly less expensive than the company's flagship models, which are typically released in September.
Going on sale later this month, the latest iPhone, known as the iPhone 16e, will go for a starting price of RM2,999.
Instead of a fingerprint sensor and home button, the new iPhone 16e employs Apple's FaceID scanner and features a sensor notch at the top of the screen. It makes use of the A18 chip from Apple, which is also found in the primary iPhone 16 versions.
The iPhone 16e with its upgraded processor is available in both black and white.
Additionally, it only has one camera lens, as opposed to the three that the most sophisticated iPhones have.
Price breakdown of the iPhone 16e will be as below:
128GB - RM2,999
256GB - RM3,499
513GB - RM4,499
You may preorder the phone starting 21st February and it will be available starting 28th February.
