And per usual netizens' code, many have shared pictures of the deceased at the scene, which immediately circulated online.

To make things worse, a number of insensitive Twitter users chose to tweet "Why KLCC?" in frustration after a few sections were temporarily shutdown due to police investigation.

Some distasteful comments were also found under YouTube videos of reporting news outlet.

A psychiatric treatment card from the Klang Hospital was later recovered from the victim's bag, indicating his poor mental state at the moment.

Yet, these people showed no sympathy whatsoever, despite the fact that he committed such a heartbreaking act.

In fact, a few went as far as to claim that the mall will soon be haunted!

In response to these selfish tweets, others are urging Internet users to be more considerate to the deceased & his family.

Everyone is kindly requested to stop circulating the photo of the deceased as well as to stop tweeting anything insensitive. Such content would only cause more grief to the bereaved.

Celebrity Sarimah Ibrahim too urged officials for "more mental health education & help for all" following the incident.

Our heartfelt condolences goes out to the family & friends of the deceased.
