After 19 long seasons, the daytime talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres will END soon.

DeGeneres made the announcement in her opening monologue, to be broadcasted during her Thursday show.

The final season will run through 2021 to 2022. This means the host will have taped over 3, 000 shows & 2,400 star-studded interviews.

The award-winning fan's favourite saw ratings plummeting 40% throughout the 2020-2021 season, following a toxic workplace environment controversy.

In fact, DeGeneres has came forward to apologize to her staff, claiming to take responsibility over the misconduct.
