Meet Malaysian couple, Arthur and Vyber, who experienced an unusual encounter while heading home from MyTown Cheras at the stroke of midnight.
In a shocking video, the couple slowed down their car when they spotted a man on the curbside hurling rocks at the vehicle in front of him. Fearing for their safety, Arthur decided to accelerate and escape the scene. However, luck was not on their side as their car suffered a direct hit, shattering the back seat window.
Arthur revealed in another video that it seemed like the random man was aiming for the passenger seat window, where Vyber was seated, but luckily the rock missed its mark. Surprisingly, they discovered that two cars behind them had also been struck including his and the one before him.
When all four affected cars converged, Arthur realized that his vehicle had sustained the most significant damage, with a broken window, while the others had minor dents and scratches on their exteriors.
What's even more alarming is that many netizens shared similar incidents that have occurred in the same area, suggesting a troubling pattern of car vandalism. Arthur mentioned that they also contacted the authorities but unfortunately, the culprit managed to flee the scene making it uncertain whether the man would be apprehended or not.
As of today, there is still no news or progress on this case but we hope by sharing Arthur and Vyber's story, our fellow locals would be more aware of such incidents happening in KL and to be alert at all times.
