A Malaysian dog owner named Surase posted a video of himself and his beloved husky, Karnan, interacting on his TikTok channel making this moment more evident than day. Karnan just expressed in the video his contempt for Surase's instruction to go to sleep, and the two engaged in a highly expressive, nonverbal "argument."

Karnan understands Tamil fluently, which was the language Surase used to converse with him throughout the video. When Surase questioned Karnan why he couldn't go asleep by himself at the start of the video, Karnan only stared at Surase. Surase, who was obviously exhausted, begged Karnan to go to his bedroom and sleep while whimpering and advancing to playfully bite him.

The dog, who could plainly understand Surase, approached Karnan and gave him a friendly paw-smacking gesture to reassure him that he shouldn't be afraid.

When Karnan's annoyance with Surase reaches its zenith at the end of the video, the dog walks off to lie down on the floor of the living room and keeps whining throughout the exchange. Karnan sat on the floor and continued to wait in quiet, not even looking in Surase's direction. 

Surase disclosed to WORLD OF BUZZ that he has been conversing with Karnan in Tamil ever since he took in the puppy at three months old. At the moment, Karnan considers English to be his second language, although he is still able to grasp it.
