Hasnan Rili took to Facebook to highlight a tragic case of a widower who trusted his EPF life savings to a new girlfriend, only to have her disappear overnight.

The widower, seeking companionship, fell victim to a deceitful scheme. His girlfriend persuaded him to transfer his entire savings into her account, promising to manage their finances for their future together. 

Tragically, the woman vanished shortly after, leaving the widower emotionally shattered and financially ruined. 

He now attends monthly psychiatric sessions, to cope with this aftermath. 

He now warns against such scams, emphasizing the need for caution in financial matters.
