Based on reports, Malaysian comedian Nigel Ng, better known as Uncle Roger, has been busy expanding his restaurant business and listening to customer feedback, because his fried rice is now cheaper!

Earlier this year, the 33-year-old opened his first restaurant, FUIYOH! Its Uncle Roger, at the upscale Pavilion KL shopping mall.

Recently, he launched the second and third outlets in MyTown mall and IPC Shopping Centre.

He revealed in an interview with influencer Sam Wong that he had adjusted the price of his fried rice following customer feedback.

People have complained that RM18 is too expensive for a plate of fried rice, though its an acceptable price for [the location], he explained.

In response, the fried rice price at the MyTown outlet has been reduced from RM18 to RM16.

Uncle Roger acknowledged the difference in customer demographics between the Pavilion and MyTown locations, noting that while the Pavilion outlet is surrounded by luxury boutiques, MyTown caters to a different crowd.
