A short but amusing TikTok video recently went viral, featuring none other than Malaysia's favourite mischief-maker, an Oyen cat. Uploaded by user @mochii0027, the video shows the orange tabby sitting nonchalantly atop a pile of burnt rubbish, believed to be dried leaves that were recently set on fire.

What makes the clip both hilarious and puzzling is the fact that the pile was still releasing smoke, suggesting that the fire had only just been put out. Despite the probable heat, the Oyen appeared completely unbothered, calmly posing with lush greenery in the background, a striking contrast to the smouldering ground beneath it.
Adding to the humour, the cat assumed a squatting position often associated with relieving oneself, leading viewers to speculate whether it had simply chosen a very questionable spot to do its business.
The 15-second video, though brief, has captured the attention of many, racking up over 1 million views.
In the comments section, netizens couldn't help but poke fun at the cat's bizarre behaviour. Some joked that Oyen was confused by the heat it was feeling, while others cheekily suggested the feline was having a DIY sauna session, engaging in traditional steaming (bertangas), or using the heat as a makeshift hot compress (bertungku).
Once again, Oyen has proven that cats never fail to surprise us with their odd antics and that Malaysians will always find a reason to laugh, especially when Oyen is involved.
