This recipe takes 25 minutes to prepare and around 10 minutes to bake. It is very easy to make and every batch can make 25 chocolate chip biscuits.
Ingredients you need: 250g softened butter, 350g light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 350g self-raising flour, 100g cocoa powder, 200g of chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Instructions:
Step 1: Beat the butter and sugar together in a bowl until light and fluffy. You can add a pinch of sea salt to add some flavor.
Step 2: Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Step 3: Sift the flour and cocoa powder and mix into the butter mix.
Step 4: Fold in the chocolate chips.
Optional: You can add nuts in the cookies too.
【Baking Process】
Step 1: Heat the oven to 190C.
Step 2: Take 2 tbsp for each cookie, place the evenly spaced mix on the baking sheets.
Step 3: Bake for 12-15 minutes until spread out and crusty on the outside.
Step 4: Leave the cookies to cool slightly or cool completely depends on your preference for warm or cold biscuits.
Optional: You can dip the biscuits in melted chocolate and leave them cool to set.
