According to Oriental Daily, the sources tell us that Kuala Lumpur State Education Department (MOE) sent the relevant letter to the schools this morning, mentioning the administrators and secretaries to return to school for work tomorrow.

The office hours must be following the usual 8-hour working hours, that is, from 8 am until 5 pm.

However, the sources tell us that the returning is only for administrative staff and secretaries, and do not involve teachers.

According to the letter issued by the Ministry of Education on May 21, the MOE’s executives management team as well as the administrative staff (AKP) who were still in their hometown during the Movement Control Order to return to their work place.

However, some principals said that they were shocked with the sudden news this morning as it was still on the Hari Raya holiday. Due the to the Hari Raya holiday as well as the schools are not allowed to resume classes, many principals, especially muslims and administrative staff are still at their hometowns.
