A video has been wildly circulated across all social media platforms that shows a woman surrounded by journalists and reporters, claiming that a few students in local schools have suffered an untimely demise over Covid-19 vaccine complications.
Specifically, two high school students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tasek Damai, Ipoh, Perak have passed due to the side effects of Covid-19 vaccines, some have claimed.
However, Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalthrash Wahid denied the allegations, and their investigations revealed that the students, did not, in fact, die from said complications.
"The first student died on July 18 after two critical months of fighting for her life at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital due to complications caused by Covid-19 infection.", he added. "She also had a number of comorbidities, which included diabetes and chronic high blood pressure.". (source: NST )
The second deceased student in question suffered and died from a heart attack on September 17th. Furthermore, the vaccination programme for teens in Perak only started on September 20th onwards, which automatically cancels out any allegations that claimed those students died from Covid-19 vaccines as they wouldn't have received any.
The Ministry of Health has also released an official statement regarding the matter, which can be found here:
