Following the government's move to make the booster vaccine shot a choice (read here), Bloomberg reported that taking a third dose of the vaccine, has shown positive results of fighting against the virus's latest variant, Omicron.
Based on their tweet yesterday (Dec 8), studies proved that a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine does in fact neutralize Omicron. After testing, a third shot portrayed a restored protection of the immune system against the virus.

Findings also noted that, two vaccine doses may not be necessarily enough to ward off the new Covid-19 strain.
"It’s very clear that the Pfizer-BioNTech shot should be a three-dose vaccine to deal with Omicron", said BioNTech Chief Executive Officer.
According to scientist officers, a third shot will provide extra protection over the next three months or so, before further strain-targeted-vaccine variations are created and distributed.
