Three brothers who were allegedly abuse victims were discovered on the side of the road, Jalan Kampung Tambun Tulang, Simpang Empat, with their legs chained.
The residents nearby found the kids, who ranged in age from 13 to 16, and they then called the police at 10:55 last night.
According to the Kangar District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop, two victims had chains around their legs, but the third wasn't.
The police suspect that the victim's mother locked and chained them in the house, and they ran away because they do not want to be treated that way anymore. However, the police could not confirm this as the victims refused to talk.
He also disclosed that the two victims hold an OKU card with hearing imparities and learning problems. The eldest 16-year-old victim has old wounds on both of his hands.
All the victims were reported to be treated in the hospital, and they are in stable mentality.
The police then detained a 46-year-old woman, who is believed to be the mother of the three brothers, along with a 31-year-old man for further investigation.
