A shocking video of a drunk driver hitting a motorbike, and continued speeding with the bike stuck to the car's bumper, is currently going viral on social media.
Happened yesterday in Taman Velox, Rawang, the video was uploaded by a concerned netizen who witnessed the horrifying accident.
The drunk driver was driving a Honda CRV and in that 18 second clip it can be seen clearly, how much the driver was speeding, despite missing a tire on the right.
With sparks flying and multiple people urging the driver to stop, they simply did not stop their vehicle.
The delivery rider, who was riding the motorcycle, was lucky to have leaped off it in time to avoid suffering a catastrophic injury.
The netizen who uploaded the video, obviously quite shaken by the event, posted the following comment:
"Extremely scary event last night at the Taman Velox crossroads, Rawang. Allahuakbar. It is said that the driver struck the biker while intoxicated. Fortunately, the rider was able to jump off in time."
In the comments, netizens are urging officials to take action immediately, especially if the driver was driving while being drunk.
Many also emphasised that the driver was risking not just one but many lives that day.
