Life isn't about how many As you get, so no matter what results you got from SPM, it's just a small part of your life.
Either you are celebrating your remarkable results or crying over your results, just embrace that moment for a while because there is still a long journey to go. Use this gap to readjust yourself and plan for your future, appreciate this period!
1. Join some meaningful programs
Take this time to join some volunteer programs or community services to make your life more meaningful. It's good for you to have better exposure to the community, society, and the world. There are so many things in the world that we should know and concerns about, it's not only how much we learn but also how much we give.
2. Enroll yourself in a short course
Take a short course to improve yourself. Maybe you can register an intensive short term course in academic wise or even practical training, such as foreign language, speaking, CPR, diving, baking, barista, music, dancing, and etc.
Experiencing new things in your life as well as discover your new interest.
3. Get a part-time job
Yes, get a part-time job to have extra earning. It trains your responsibility and you get to experience a pre-worker life at the same time. It is also an opportunity for you to broaden your network, to meet new friends and maybe you will get the chance to develop your career too. Never try never know.
4. Spend some time on yourself
Finally, you are having the freedom of post-SPM life!
Enjoy this time by spending some time on yourself. Do something that you have an interest in, like reading, traveling and explore more about yourself. Take a look at yourself and take a rest. Compliment yourself for working hard, for not giving up and reward yourself with some delicious food, a good book, and a nice place.
5. Research on the interested course
Some of you might be getting excited to enjoy your campus life.
Do research on the course and university that you are interested in is very important. You can get the resources and information from the website, education fair, and the counselors. You should know the entry requirement, the duration of the study, the fees and the potential career paths. Everything is important. Always plan beforehand so that you won't wind up in courses that you have no interest in.
Remember, not to show off, not to give up and keep on working hard and improving yourself.
All these things will be your bonus marks in your resume and interview. Only a better you can create a better life, nothing is impossible!
