A single mother in Thailand hung herself because she could not afford to buy milk for her 2 young children anymore. She was only 26.
Irada Lordpet, a Maha Sarakham resident, was found hanging in bathroom by her brother. She was rushed to the hospital but died on the way.
It is said that the victim was a yogurt seller, but the pandemic has cost her her job, which resulting in a loss of income. Subsequently, she no longer had the money to buy milk for her sons, aged 6 months old and 6 years old.
