Using indoor plants to be home decoration has become a trend now. However, indoor plants are not just for home decoration only, it is actually could benefit our daily life by the following reasons:

1. Release Oxygen

As we know, plants having a photosynthesis process could absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen to the air at day time and on the contrary at night.

You may try to plant some orchids, succulents plants, and epiphytic bromeliads plants too among your indoor plants' collection. This is because they react opposite with the normal C3 plants, they absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen at night.

Undoubtedly, indoor plants could release more oxygen to our living space and refresh our indoor air quality.

2. Release water

As part of the photosynthetic and respiratory processes, plants release moisture vapor to the air too. It may increase the humidity of the air around our living spaces.

Increasing the humidity in the air is good for our skin and respiration system too. Besides that, the vapor could bring the heat in the air away from the atmosphere and create a cooler effect on the indoor temperature.

3. Purify Air

Some of the indoor plants were found could purify the volatile organic compound (VOC)  in the air like formaldehyde, benzene, and trichloroethylene. So the airtight building which could trap the VOC in the building may make use of placing indoor plants in the building to reduce it. The plants may absorb the pollutants to the soil and the microorganisms in the roots zone may convert the air pollutants into the foods for plants

4. Improve Health
