Stalking is a grave offence, especially in the wake of last weekend's unsettling incident where a woman in Damansara Damai was stalked by a perverted man who engaged in inappropriate behaviour.
Such incidents contribute to a pervasive sense of fear among women, making them wary of being alone and prone to paranoia. Recently, another woman sensed she was being followed by a stranger and, prioritizing her safety, decided to document the encounter.
Holy shit guys, Ive been stalked by some guy & hes followed me everywhere. I never post anything in real time but this scare the shit out of me, I also confronted him why hes following me but he denied. I took video of him so everyone can be alert and beware of this guy. pic.twitter.com/yoXQOmKHYm

Taking to Twitter, she shared her experience of a man following her around Mont Kiara. Despite her confrontation, the man denied any wrongdoing. She deliberately visited multiple shops to dispel doubts, only to find him consistently observing her from different angles.
Feeling threatened, she sought refuge in a Starbucks, where she requested assistance from the barista and called her male friend to pick her up. The woman reported the incident and received an update that the police checked in on her to assess whether the man was still following her.
They assured her of support, encouraging her to report any safety concerns and provide evidence, including a description of the stalker. While the situation is undoubtedly alarming, the comment section revealed mixed reactions.
Some sceptics suggested it might be a coincidence or attributed it to her paranoia, while others empathized with the woman, expressing relief that she is now safe and expressing disbelief at the motivations behind such disturbing acts of stalking.
