A motorcyclist's sudden brandishing of a fake pistol at a traffic light near Bukit Besar in Kuala Terengganu recently caused alarm among the public. The incident, captured in a viral video since Wednesday, shows the man aiming the imitation firearm at passersby.
The individual, wearing a black jacket and riding a Honda C70 motorcycle, pulled out the fake weapon when he stopped at the red light. This action prompted concern among the surrounding people.

According to Kuala Terengganu District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd. Noor, the suspect, who was under the influence of drugs, was located in Kampung Ladang Sehat at 1:30 PM on Thursday.
The 26-year-old man's actions were seemingly intended to force vehicles on the opposite lane to stop, allowing him to speed off towards Kampung Dusun Melintang, Azli said.
Based on the viral video, an investigation led to the suspects arrest. During the operation, authorities found a black imitation pistol marked 'De In Israel.'
Preliminary questioning revealed that the suspect admitted to the act, claiming he found the fake firearm in a trash bin near Bulatan Ladang. The suspect, originally from Ranau, Sabah, and employed as a restaurant assistant, confirmed his involvement in the incident.
A urine test showed the suspect was positive for methamphetamine, and he has a prior criminal record for causing bodily harm. The case is being investigated under Section 36(1) of the Firearms Act 1960.
