APT has been getting some shade in Malaysia for being a song of bad influence, because of its lyrics which focus on partying, drinking and smoking,
Apparently, it has also entered the ban list for South Korea, but for very different reasons.
According to reports from Korea, APT has joined the ranks of South Korea's unofficial list of forbidden songs for students studying for their intense college entrance exams.
But it's not due to controversial themes, it's about the songs irresistibly catchy beat. Songs on this list are known to be so engaging that they risk distracting students from their studies.
Other popular forbidden tracks in South Korea include Aespa's Next Level, Red Velvet's Zimzalabim, and SHINee's Ring Ding Dong all beloved but notoriously hard to shake once they're stuck in your head.
Getting banned has become a badge of honor in the K-pop world, marking songs as nearly impossible to resist.
So, congrats ROSÉ and Bruno Mars for this catchy milestone!
