The incident, captured in a 23-second video circulating on social media, began when a man in a gray t-shirt retrieved his luggage from the overhead compartment. A man in a black t-shirt reportedly intervened, leading to a heated exchange that quickly escalated into a fistfight.
Distressed voices of passengers filled the cabin during the commotion, with one woman pleading in Mandarin, "Don't fight anymore! There are children here!"
A spokesperson from Scoot confirmed that the altercation occurred on the flight from Xian, China, to Singapore. The crew intervened upon landing at Changi Airport, ensuring the situation was brought under control in accordance with safety procedures.
