The police are actively tracking down a man suspected of snatching a necklace belonging to an elderly woman in an incident at a house in Hoover Park, Jalan Sultan Abdullah, on Tuesday.

Hilir Perak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri, stated that the incident occurred around 7 a.m. when the suspect pretended to be a customer and asked the 65-year-old victim to make a flower garland.
"While the victim was making the flower garland, the suspect approached her from behind and suddenly snatched a gold necklace that she was wearing.
"A struggle ensued, and the suspect pushed the victim, causing her to fall to the floor. The incident was noticed by the victims son after hearing her cries for help," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Ahmad Adnan, the suspect managed to escape with part of the victim's gold necklace.
"As a result of the incident, the victim sustained injuries to her neck, as well as cuts on her hands, legs, and hips.
"The suspect is believed to be a local male with a stocky build and dark skin. He was wearing a helmet, a black face mask, and a black-and-yellow jacket.
"The suspect was also riding a Honda Wave 125 motorcycle, but the victim could not identify the registration number," he added.
He further stated that the case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing injury while committing robbery.
