There are so many cafe-hopping guides that tell you where to go and it's amazing to go. But, not all the cafes are always 'yay'. Some cafes had the most aesthetic looking photo yet they are 'nay'.
After that one visit, you never going to revisit. Here's a list of 'editor's pick' cafe that worth a second visit. Let's check it out!
Kopenhagen Coffee- Find hygge here.
When you enter the cafe, you would feel like your surroundings have slowed down. The Scandinavian vibe and minimalistic interior create a sense of inner peace. The high ceiling makes the whole area looks spacious.
Editor's favourite spot is the bar top table by the window. And her favourite activity is to look outside the window and see some of the drivers struggle to park their car. *justkidding
A sip of coffee while reading a book might be a better activity. If you are hungry, there are various choice of food including a vegan option. They have some cakes and cookies if you just want a nibble.
If you guys are lucky, you will get to see some doggo following their hooman in the cafe. Since we can't travel out of the country, you should visit this cafe to get a glimpse of Copenhagen lifestyle.
Provision- The Hermes colour cafe
You might not hear of this cafe. At some point, you would have seen someone in your Instagram, posted about this orange cafe.
Their significant exterior has become the staple of the Instagrammable spot.
When you search 'aesthetic cafe' on Google, you won't see an orange colour cafe in the results. People's perception of 'aesthetic cafe' vibe usually is minimalistic, industrial, Muji, etc.
Yet, Provision might have made the orange is the new aesthetic.
One of the customer's favourite spot is the bench seat at the outside. You don't really see an outdoor section by the road from a cafe. With the scorching heat in Malaysia, people just want to stay indoors. However, sometimes is good to enjoy some sunlight.
Food-wise, you could some savoury light food. Such as grilled cheese, egg sandwiches, etc. They have a wide range of baked good from cookies, sourdough to a doughnut.
Editor's pick is their grilled cheese and latte. The latte reminded her of the coffee she had in Melbourne.
For a non-avid coffee drinker, she could become an avid coffee drinker for Provision's latte. It does not have a bitter after taste and is rather smooth and light.
Occasionally, Provision will have a new product and make sure you revisit to catch the new doughnut and the new Apple Tarte Tartin pie.
Kingshall- A spacious cafe that might actually worth the King to visit.
Have you encountered a situation wherein a cafe, you unintentionally eavesdropped the entire conversation of how terrible Amy's bf was from the table beside you? I feel for you too, Amy! *sobbing
The truth is you don't want to know but due to the limited space of the cafe. This kind of awkward situation is ought to happen if the cafe is too small. As in some cafes, their table placement is too close to another table.
Kingshall would not have such an issue as it has a huge interior that could fit many people.
Kingshall might be the only cafe that Editor would revisit because of the ambience and the spacious interior. She was trying to 'cincai' get a place to have a coffee with a friend. Without trying any food, she already decided to visit the second time.

Usually, there is only one spot in a cafe that is actually Instagrammable. That's not the case in Kingshall. There are many Instagrammable corners in this cafe.
Kingshall provides a lot of seat options, such as single-seat, long table, by the window, etc.

They serve a wide range of food as well. You could definitely have a good meal there and end with a great dessert. Basically, you don't have to hop to another cafe to get desert. Kingshall got you covered on everything, from coffee, meal to dessert.
