Popular actor Azhar Sulaiman recently shared his worries about his daughter, Kasih Iris Leona, who has been constantly involved in controversies despite receiving criticism and advice from netizens.

In a statement posted on his Facebook account, 51-year-old Azhar expressed his concerns as a father, questioning whether his 21-year-old daughter's actions were a result of her own stupidity.

"There are people who have stupid moments, but now I am concerned that my daughter, Leona, is being foolish every day," wrote Azhar.

Of particular interest, the Abang 92 movie actor mentioned the name of well-known businessman Datuk Aliff Syukri, who is often associated with controversial incidents.

"Does she want to become like Aliff Syukri? Will she ever stop stirring up controversies?" he added.

Azhar's heartfelt statement regarding Leona's behavior drew the attention of netizens, who also sympathized with his concerns.

Many netizes advised him to be patient in raising children in today's challenging times, emphasizing the difficulties faced by parents in similar situations.

"The challenge of raising children during challenging times. Brother Har (Azhar's nickname), practices the wisdom of Prophet Sulaiman. Don't despair, don't lose hope. I also have children who are growing up," shared a follower.

"Pray for the best. You know your own children better. Ignore what others have to say," advised another supporter.

"Our test as parents. Many other parents face similar challenges. It's just that, as the sibling of a famous person, you become the focus of netizens. Lots of prayers, may Allah SWT guide us as parents," commented a Facebook user.

Previously, Leona had attracted attention from netizens due to her frequent posts of photos and videos featuring bold and eye-catching looks.

Her appearance was often criticized as being excessive for a celebrity's child and a Muslim woman.

Azhar, in one of his Instagram posts, expressed a sense of dilemma, acknowledging that every parent faces challenges caused by their children, including himself.

However, the actor found solace in the fact that his children's behavior was not as extreme as his own during his younger years.

He admitted that his children's actions were a reflection of his own past, and he hoped to manage his family better moving forward.

"For me, it's better this way than the alternative. When I look back at my youth, it was worse than what my children are doing now. Children are a response to what we did when we were single. I have learned to be calmer and hope to better manage my family," Azhar concluded. 

However, many netizens have also slammed him by saying that he could have advised her privately and not publicly shame her on social media. 

It is worth noting that Azhar is married to Chempaka Emalin Pahamin and has been blessed with three children: Kasih Leia Ixora (23), and twins Andika Rees Pahamin and Leona.
