2016 was K-drama year and we fell in love with some amazing K-dramas that will probably stay with us forever.
One of the those take-to-grave K-dramas was Strong Girl Bong-soon. Starring duo Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik, the story told about a girl with superhuman strength who falls in love with the CEO of a company.
He then later discovers her strength and together they take on living an 'ordinary' life as possible.
Great chemistry, a comedic-storyline and more, we fell in love instantly. Skip 7 years later, the show is back with a sequel/spin off, and we can barely contain the excitement!
Strong Girl Nam-soon is again a comedy about three generations of women born with unbelievable strength. They investigate drug-related crimes occurring around the Gangnam area.
The show stars Lee Yoo Mi as Gang Nam Soon, eccentric, bubbly and strong who flies to Korea from Mongolia in order to find her parents.
Premiering yesterday (7 Oct), the show has since gotten great ratings.
It received higher viewership ratings than the original Strong Girl Bong Soon. The first episode scored an average nationwide rating of 4.3 percent, surpassing the premiere rating of 3.8 percent achieved by the original drama.
