ICYMI: WATCH: Man Wearing A Gold Chain Worth RM100K In Miri Was Mugged With A Parang While Walking Alone
A fire broke out near the Pudu Fire Station last night (June 18), and the disaster was quite tragic.
According to China Press, six illegal wooden houses were completely burned down, one illegal wooden house and one double-storey shophouse were half burned down, three cars and three motors were burned into scrap metal, and no reports of casualties have been received so far.
There was an LRT passing by the fire scene at the time, and the passengers in the carriage witnessed the disaster outside. The flames reflected outside the windows, and the scene was quite shocking!
A passenger named "mumu sauce" who happened to be taking the LRT shared the scene on Xiaohongshu and said: "I really thought I would be burned!"
Mumu revealed that she passed Pudu station at 8:10. She was playing with her mobile phone with her head down when she suddenly felt very hot and saw a little red light. When she looked up, she saw that the house opposite was on fire!
She was terrified when she saw this scene, and said that she could feel the heat coming towards her while sitting in the carriage. It was obvious that the fire was really big. She thought she would be "burned", and the passengers opposite her were so scared that they jumped up from their seats.
As the LRT was almost right next to the fire, the fire could be seen from the car window. Netizen "Balala" left a comment under the original poster's post, saying that he took a later bus and passed Pudu Station at 8:13, and shared a super shocking, super close-up photo of the fire
Later, "Balala" also shared a video to explain what he saw on the scene:
"When I was standing holding the handrail, I suddenly saw a flash of red on the opposite side. At that moment, I could only watch the fire getting closer and closer to me. A few seconds later, the temperature was high. The whole car suddenly became very hot in those few seconds, and the passengers on the opposite side were so scared that they stood up. By the time I reacted and picked up the phone to take a photo, it was actually halfway through. But the fire and the LRT were really close and scary. You should be able to feel it when you watch the video."
