A man shared his experience of being robbed on an AirAsia flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, which wasn't fully booked. He noticed a man moving back and forth during the flight, but it wasn't until after he landed that he realized he had been robbed. When he opened his wallet, he found that some cash was missing, initially thinking he might have left it at home. However, when he checked the pouch where he kept his watch, he realized something was wrong.

He contacted the airline, but they were not very helpful. The man was particularly upset because the watch that went missing had been with him for over 15 years, and he wanted to raise awareness for other travellers. 

Many netizens commented on his post, sharing their own similar experiences and offering advice. 

They emphasized never to place carry-on bags in the overhead compartment above your seat, suggesting instead to keep them on the opposite side so you can always see your belongings. 

They also advised against leaving personal items such as passports and wallets in cabin luggage, suggesting that these should always be kept on you in a small backpack placed under the seat with the zipper facing you.
