A TikTok post by @plumberbom recently went viral, showing firefighter Azlin Norssham and his team rescuing a dog trapped in a football goal net around Maghrib time.
Unlike usual rescue calls involving animals stuck in trees or drains, this case was unusual. The dog had become entangled in the net, unable to free itself. In the video, a firefighter carefully cut the net with scissors, and though the full process wasn't shown, the dog was believed to be safely rescued.
The post touched many viewers, with some praising the firefighters' efforts, while others found humor in the dogs resigned expression. One joked, "Looks like someone assigned the dog as the goalkeeper!"
A mother also shared that such rescues inspired her child to dream of becoming a firefighter, hoping to save both people and animals one day.
