In times of trouble, people evolve, developing and innovating ways and solutions to overcome the situation. At Nilai Medical Centre, they are now providing drive-through Covid-19 testing and they promises to have the results ready within 48 hours.
As the Ministry of Health is scaling up detection, isolation and treatment, in order to flatten the curve and eliminate the virus, this effort from Nilai Medical Centre is aimed to support the 'time-sensitive' initiative as well.
This 10-minutes drive-through test could help minimises close contact, giving people an ease of mind to get tested is they have any concern on accidentally spreading or get infected to the virus. Patients who are tested positive, will be notified immediately and be directed to appropriate government hospitals for treatment.
The chief executive officer, Jasmine Lau, said that, “With the fast processing drive-through test, Nilai Medical Centre is able to play an important role to expedite medical attention and isolation. We want to stand in solidarity with our fellow healthcare professionals at government facilities and do our part to help,” chief executive officer Jasmine Lau said.
The Nilai Medical Centre's drive-through Covid-19 testing is offered at RM580 for general public and RM500 for senior citizens aged from 60 years old and above and healthcare workers, This testing is operating from 2pm - 5pm, Wednesday to Friday.
