According to Chinese traditions, we're currently at the "peak" of the hungry ghost festival. That means that the doors of hell are wide open and most of the spirits are already roaming our world. To "celebrate" that, here are some stories with a supernatural twist. Can you solve them all?
#Management
It was the end of the semester, we were all so excited. It was already pass lights out and the entire hostel was dark. All I could do was twist and turn in my bed. Suddenly, an unknown voice broke the silence, "hey, you guys couldn't sleep too right?"
The guys and I all answered enthusiastically. The voice then suggested "why don't we tell some horror stories? I'll start!"
It was at this point that Lee said "everyone keep quiet! Management is coming!" and we all realized what was wrong.
#Hide & Seek
Yesterday, 8 of us were playing hide and seek. They found the first 3 people within 5 minutes, and the next 4 people within the next 5 minutes. I was found right after. The game was too short, so we played again.
#Mirrors
I went to a store to get some clothes. They had one of those "infitiny rooms" as their dressing room where every wall was a mirror. Pretty cool.
I put on my clothes and saw every face looking at me from all sides. I made a funny face, all the faces in the mirrors followed suit.
Suddenly, I realized something, and I ran out of the store.
#Taste Like Mom's
She brought her mentally ill brother to the shop. Haven't seen them in a while. "Two bowls of chicken noodle soup please! We haven't had any for so long since our mom disappeared."
I brought the food to the table. She had it first. "Yummmm! Have a taste, brother. Tastes just like mom's!"
Her brother had a taste. He frowned. "Mom doesn't taste like that."
#The Window
Just lost my job. Had to move to a run down apartment. First day, I lost my breath trying to climb up the flights of stairs. Took a shower and the electricity went out. What a day.
A knock on the window in the middle of the night woke me. "Did you just move in? Sorry about the electricity, I brought you a candle." It was a woman. I was too tired to answer it.
I moved out the next day.

1. If they spent the whole semester together, they would've recognized each other's voices. Lee was the first to realized that the unknown voice was not "one of them" and tries to stop them.
2. They found 3, then 4, then "me". That makes 8. So who was the seeker?
3. There shouldn't be faces on all sides. Some sides should show the side of a face or the back of the head. But all mirrors were showing faces.
4. The mom didn't disappear. The mentally ill brother killed and ate her.
5. If the person lost their breath climbing the stairs, they must've been staying at a higher floor. So what could knock on the window?
