PETALING JAYA - A social media user expressed his disappointment when food ordered through a food ordering application was stolen by a mysterious food delivery man.
Through a post on Facebook by Pos Cod, he uploaded a video and a screenshot of a man on a motorcycle with a foodbag attached to the back as a way to disguise himself as a 'rider' before taking food placed on a table near the lobby.
The incident is believed to have taken place in Bukit Jalil where the food thieves used the same tactic repeatedly.
According to the caption of the Facebook post, the user was actually a customer who ordered food through a food deliver app. His rider came and delivered his food and shortly after that, another alleged "rider" came and took two food orders that were placed on the table, put it into his bag and rode off.
He said he came down to collect his food and it wasn't there. According to him this had happened to him twice.
Thankfully, he managed to get the number plate of the food thief and made a complaint to the company who owns the app. But, he found out that the number plate of the alleged rider was not registered under the company.
That could mean that he is using someone else's food bag to look like a rider and then goes around stealing food.
