According to Indian reports, a heartless couple had sold their 8-month-old baby for RM4,500 to buy an iPhone 14! This couple already had a 7-year-old daughter and a newborn baby. One day, their neighbours noticed that the newborn baby was missing, and the couple suddenly had a new iPhone.
When questioned by the concerned neighbours, the mother admitted that they had indeed sold their child, claiming it was to afford an iPhone so they could shoot Instagram reels during their travels. Shocked by this unbelievable response, the people immediately reported the incident to the police.
The authorities promptly arrested the mother and the woman who purchased the baby. Even more horrifying, during police interrogation, the mother confessed that she had also attempted to sell her 7-year-old daughter!
Currently, the police are diligently searching for the father, who is on the run. It is truly disheartening to witness such a situation where a child is treated as a commodity for the sake of a vacation. Children are not commodities; this act is utterly immoral!
