A mother shares a heartbreaking story of abuse against her two children at a childcare centre in Kulai, Johor.
The incident occurred on the first day the children were sent to the babysitter's house. The mother, Nurhidayah Jamil, discovered bite marks on the back of her six-month-old baby. The older sibling also reportedly suffered injuries on the cheek due to the babysitter's actions.
Nurhidayah Jamil detailed the incident's timeline in a Facebook post on Sunday, describing how baby Luth was bitten more than eight times, resulting in torn and bleeding skin, while older sibling Nuh received a forceful slap to the face. Both children are said to be traumatized and running fevers. Treatment has been sought, and a police report has been filed.
In a further revelation, Nurhidayah stated that the babysitter only apologized and contributed RM50 towards the children's medical expenses. This incident has sparked outrage among netizens, urging legal action against the caregiver.
Kluang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Nor, confirmed receiving the report on January 10 and is investigating the case under Section 31(1) A of the Child Act 2001.
