This pool cinema in Melaka has been dubbed the first of its kind in the world, designed as a fun splashing ground for kids to watch movies.
Known as the Blue Pool Junior, the centre’s introduction on TikTok has certainly garnered attention due to its unique concept, much to the mixed reactions from netizens.
A common question asked was whether the pools are hygienic enough to dip in, to which the centre responded that the pools will be refilled with clean waters right after the movies end.
As for the rest, some can’t help but to comment that the design looks similar to that of a “waterbirthing centre”.
