As reported by Borneo Post Online, the man was announced as the jackpot winner on December 8. He revealed that he had been placing bets on his family members' car registration numbers, 5841 and 1562, for several years without fail.

"When the winning numbers were announced, I immediately recognized them as the ones I've been betting on for so long," he shared with STM Lottery. "I felt an immense sense of relief and joy. When I double-checked my ticket and saw the match, I was completely speechless and overwhelmed."

The retiree now plans to use his winnings to ensure financial security for his family. He shared his intention to place the money in a fixed deposit to generate steady income for future generations, allowing them to live comfortably.

The RM21.3 million prize he claimed was part of the RM21.5 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1. The remaining RM203,962.75 was won by another lucky individual from Selangor.

For this Penangite, the win marks a life-changing moment and a well-deserved reward for years of hope and dedication.
