In a video posted on X, a Chinese employer decides to give his two cents on why he chooses not to hire employees that are of the Malay race.
This now viral video, has caused a huge eruption among Malaysians, with even influencers stepping in to call out the man in the video.
The man starts of the video saying " If you hire a Malay employee, prepare yourself for a life-changing experience."
He then proceeds to list down reasons as to why he chooses to not do it, by mentioning that people of the Malay race likes to firstly, take leaves with reasons you can't imagine, work hard but show no proper results, refuse to work overtime, have poor financial management that leads to them asking for an advance salary and finally, "going MIA" on Friday afternoons due to Friday prayers.

Upon the video being posted, netizens are angry! (rightfully so)
Many Malaysians chime in, to defend our fellow Muslim brother and sisters, saying that a generalisation such as this is uncalled for and simply unfair as a poor employee stems from the person itself and never from a race.
Some netizens are also claiming that the man in the video does not seem to be a Malaysian but from a different country maybe China or Taiwan.
Bodoh, bodoh, bodoh! One thing I absolutely hate is when people generalize. As someone who has hired and worked with people of different races, its all about the individual, not their race. Ada je staff Cina yang tak efficient, selalu ambik MC dan sebagainya.

Influencer Ceddy then steps in, sharing his opinion of the video with a now viral tweet.
He says "as someone who has hired and worked with people of different races, its all about the individual, not their race. Ada je staff Cina yang tak efficient, selalu ambik MC dan sebagainya."
Ceddy and many netizens too have agreed that it is simply ridiculous for employers to expect their staff to work overtime when 1. they are stingy with the salary and 2. you do not get paid for overtime, which is true!
