You might know him from the 'Kingsman' franchise as Eggsy - training in a spy organisation. Now, meet James Keene. A convicted drug dealer who's just trying to get his sentence lifted by coaxing a confession from an inmate, who is a suspected serial killer.
Black Bird is a new true crime thriller series playing on Apple TV. Starring Taron Egerton (James Keene), Paul Walter Hauser (Larry Hall) and late Ray Liotta (Big Jim Keene).
Egerton admitted that it was really hard to root for his character in the beginning. Well, he is playing as an egomaniacal meathead who agrees to befriend a suspected serial killer in exchange for freedom. It's understandable.
For him to play convicted drug dealer James, Egerton packed on major pounds of muscle and this is the buffest he has ever gotten for a role.
"Because I trained (as James is in prison lifting weights), I found out that I grew along with him in the show. Its definitely the biggest I've been, much bigger than Kingsman."
He's not wrong about being buff. Just look at 'em guns. *heart eyes*
