Chan Man Yew, a 28-year-old Malaysian 3D Modeling Artist, is making waves in the gaming industry.
His name is associated with the well-known video game "The Last of Us Part II," and he has learned that his passion for designing is something he didn't expect that will blow up.
Man Yew is one of the few people who can profess to be fulfilling their passion every single day.
Despite his poor SPM results, he was still given the go-ahead to pursue a career in the arts, and he enrolled at Claz'room College's Game Design Advanced Diploma course.
Man Yew persisted in pushing the limits until Lemon Sky Studios, a Malaysian CGI art studio known for its work on Final Fantasy VII Remake, Resident Evil: Resistance, Warcraft III: Reforged, and other titles, offered him a position to work with them.
For the 3D artist, it was already a dream come true at this moment. In addition to that, to add more impressive game titles to his profile he even has worked on The Last of Us Part II, where he and his team were solely responsible for the environment aspect.
So whatever buildings, towers, and everything you see in the backdrop of the game was pretty much his work.
Pretty amazing, huh?
