A storm is brewing between rapper Bad Bunny and his ex-girlfriend, and it's not looking good for his pockets!
Carliz De La Cruz Hernández recently filed a USD40 MILLION lawsuit towards the star, citing the use of her voice recording "Bad Bunny, baby" in two of his songs. She claimed to have recorded the line in 2015, before it then appeared in Pa Ti (2017) and Dos Mil 16 (2022).
De La Cruz was then approached by Bad Bunny's rep days before his 2022 album was released, with an offer of USD2,000 for the rights to the line but was declined.
Although a deal wasn't struck, the lawsuit stated it was eventually used without her consent, mainly in "promotional materials, on social media, on the radio and even in other songs."
