In a story that shocked everyone, an illegal business stealing and using cat meat has been exposed by the public.
The horrifying news came to light after a large number of the live species- strays and even domesticated- were found locked in cages at a cemetery in Zhangjiagang (Jiangsu province).
Thanks to their noises, the public were able to save them in the nick of time before they end up on the chopping block.
It’s believed that the filthy operation has been processing the cat meats into various kinds such as sausages and kebab. Even worse, they’ve even tricked consumers by alleging the sources being “mutton or pork”.
