It is reported that 8 Tablighi Jamaat attendees from Malaysia were arrested at New Delhi’s IGI Airport before boarding Malindo Air relief flight that is taking stranded tourists and visitors back to Malaysia.
The details of the arrest is yet to be confirmed, but all the detained attendees will be handed over to the Delhi police and health authorities for further investigations.
As many as 960 foreigners, including the 8 Malaysians arrested, were blacklisted by India authorities for using tourist visa to attend religious congregation. It is said that they will be taken action.
