1. Main Character
If you're being described as the main character, that means you possess a certain charismatic trait that draws people in, or you're simply living your best life being your best self; just like every main character in any feel-good movies.
Example: "Look at her go! She's definitely the main character."
2. It's The ______ For Me!
Used as a means of emphasis, it is usually used as a counter-argument, a compliment, a sarcastic remark, whichever the situation fits; when you want to specifically point something out.
Example: *Sees a poorly dressed person walk by* "It's the outfit for me!"
3. Fax? No Printer
Means straight up facts. No lies whatsoever. Also used as an emphasis.
Example: "You're my ultimate bestie, fax? no printer."
4. Sus
Shortform for suspicious.
Example: "This text I got from Karen is kinda sus."
5. Bussin
Gen-Z version of "very good"m basically. To be used in place of "delicious", "enjoyable" and basically any other positive adjectives and is mostly used to describe food.
Example: "KFC's french fries do be bussin."
6. Dummy Thicc
Used to describe a person with an attractively curvy body.
Example: "She be looking real dummy thicc today."
7. Thirst Trap
Usually referred to social media posts that are seemingly provocative.
Example: "His Instagram is full of thirst traps, it's ridiculous."
8. Yeet
To throw something very hard, or to jump from a very high place. It's supposed to resemble the sound an object makes when it gets thrown hard.
Example: Are we yeeting into the lake or nah?"
9. Fam
Short form for family, used to refer to someone from your inner circle. Or also can be used as a sentence filler.
Example: "We eating good tonight fam!"
10. Hits Different
This is a positive phrase to emphasize that something is really differently good, unlike the rest.
Example: "My mom's cooking just hits different, man."
11. Deadass
To be used in place of "I'm serious". Like an emphasis.
Example: "I deadass don't know how to respond when you say that."
