Where maximalism meets Bridgerton, La Maison d'Antiques is not your usual definition of a "hipster" cafe. With the antique interiors of an old-french grandeur, walking into this cafe would immediately transport you to a couple of centuries back.
Carrying the aura and the aesthetics of a mini-museum of old-time relics, La Maison d'Antiques is fiercely adorned with furniture, ornaments, collector's items, and other aged pieces from centuries ago. Some of them are even for sale!
Emulating its interiors, its cuisine is just as exquisite. Influenced mostly by French flavors with a unique twist, you would not be disappointed with their menu.
Here's what we ordered:
- Parma Ham & Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough (RM 38)
The sophisticated nutty flavors of the parma ham, or Prosciutto di Parma pairs very well with the airiness of the omelet all sitting on top of the generously seasoned sourdough.
Can't go wrong with the combination of smoked salmon and lemon! Paired with a generous serving of avocado and a perfectly rich sunny side up, it's easily a burst of a feast in your mouth.
- Imperial Iced Tea (RM 18) & Lychee En Rose (RM 20)
Perfect for a hot day, these drinks could quench your thirst and might even prompt you to order another glass!
Mariage Freres Tea, Marco Polo (RM 20)
If you're an avid fan of teas, you'll be pleased to know that La Maison d'Antiques offers 14 selections of tea flavors from Mariage Freres Tea, a French gourmet tea company founded in 1854.
If you're craving a change of settings from your usual cafe-hopping landscape, definitely give La Maison d'Antiques a go. Plenty of pretty corners for your OOTD shenanigans too!
